Timing is everything. This large cherry orchard on Hwy. 42 just south of Ellison Bay, WI provided me with a wonderful landscape of white and green. I was in Door County last week and the cherry blossoms still had not popped out. Wait a week and this is what you see. I was very fortunate to be shooting a job in Door County this week, May 18, 2022. And after a warm weekend, I had a hunch the cherry blossoms would be out. Luck is where preparation meets opportunity. And I timed it just right this season to be able to fly my drone over this cherry orchard just when the blossoms were at their peak. And at the end of the day when the light is low creating a beautiful contrast of light and shadow. The light was great and low winds provided me with over an hour of flight time around this orchard. What a great evening in Door County!
