It’s the beginning of fall harvest and I’m flying my drone again around the farm fields of Wisconsin. Using a hyrdoswing swather, a Wisconsin farmer cuts a field of alfalfa and grass. Alfalfa, also called lucerne, is a perennial flowering plant in the legume family Fabaceae. It is cultivated as an important forage crop in many countries around the world.
