As I’m a Wisconsin-based commercial photographer and a FAA-licensed drone piloty, I just can’t help myself.  I’m on my way back south after a day of work in Door County and I come across another field of crops being cut.  This time, it’s a field of alfalfa.  It’s the end of the day, the sun is low on the horizon and I have my drone with me.  I stopped and asked farmer, Galen Baudhuin permission to fly my drone while he was cutting his alfalfa field.  The evening light provides wonderfully dramatic images and video.  And the contrast of the alfalfa field, cut and uncut adds to the drama of the visuals.
