Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to create the Google Virtual Tour for Al Johnson’s Stabbur Beer Garden & Bütik Gift Shop in Sister Bay. You can even see the Goats on the Roof of Al Johnson’s Restaurant. Al Johnson’s is always a ‘Must Visit’ when in Door County!

“This is a popular spot for Door County visitors and I absolutely recommend that you stop by to see the goats grazing on the grass roof. It’s free and fun.
You may also want to check out the nice shop inside the restaurant building. If you have kiddos in your life, they sell adorable plush goat toys.
If it’s not too busy, I also recommend eating at Al Johnson’s. The food is excellent, and how often does one get to have Swedish pancakes and meatballs, lingonberries, etc? But be forewarned, it’s often busy and there can be a long wait. Insider tip: They now offer call-in orders, and you can eat in the outdoor bar/dining area next door.“
